GUEST INFORMATION

 

Directions:

From North or South I-5, take exit #175 (N.E. 145th Street), go West on 145th street past Aurora Avenue (SR-99) and Greenwood Avenue N.  Turn right at 3rd Avenue N.W., and veer right at the guard gate.  There are two parking lots: one south of the clubhouse and one north of the golf shop.

The Seattle Golf Club is a strict cell phone-free facility and our club dress code strictly prohibits denim to any private events.

CELL PHONE POLICY

The use of any Personal Electronic Device (PED) for making or receiving phone calls is strictly prohibited at all facilities of the Club except for the following:

1. While seated inside a licensed vehicle in the Seattle Golf Club parking lots.
2. In the case of a medical emergency.

All ring tones must be turned off or switched to vibrate mode at all times while on Seattle Golf Club premises.

Members of Seattle Golf Club are responsible for their guests understanding this Club Policy.

DRESS CODE

The following attire is not acceptable for anyone at any time:
“Jeans” of any type, cargo-style pants or shorts, tank-tops, halter-tops, cut off pants, tennis shorts, bathing suits, bare midriffs, sweat suits or gymnasium attire.

Clubhouse Dress Code:
Dress code compliance is expected even when arriving at the club facilities, even for the purpose of changing clothes.

Men are not to wear golf hats and visors anywhere in the Clubhouse facility other than the locker room. 

While on the golf course, practice areas or in the Pro Shop:

Men:

• Shirts with a collar, must be tucked in at all times
• Sweaters, mock-neck, turtlenecks, half-zip and crew-type pullovers
• Collarless sweaters or pullovers must have a collared shirt worn underneath
• Slacks, pants, corduroys, Bermuda length shorts, rain pants
• Shorts must be worn no shorter than 4-5" above the top of the knee.  Western style 5-pocket pants are permissible, provided they are not blue jeans, denim or of fabric that is faded or distressed.  No cargo-style shorts.
• Hats, visors and caps, worn brim forward
• Golf appropriate footwear with soft spikes or athletic sole suitable for golf

Ladies:

The intent for all Ladies golf attire is for it to be conservative in nature.  Specifically, for Ladies shorts, skorts and skirts, the length must be no shorter than 4-5" above the top of the knee and easily longer than mid-thigh.

• Shirts or tops with a collar, crew neck, turtleneck, mock-neck, or high v-neck
• Sleeveless shirts permissable with a collar
• Bermuda length shorts, pants, corduroys, skirts, skorts, capris, or rainpants
  • Skorts, shorts, and skirts must be worn no shorter than 4-5" above the top of the knee
• Solid, dark colored leggings for weather-warmth may be worn provided they include the conforming length short, skirt or skort
• Hats, visors and caps, worn brim forward
• Golf appropriate footwear with soft spikes or athletic sole suitable for golf
